The stay was fine but the elevator did not work in the morning at 6:45. I was on the fourth floor. Glad I’m healthy. I walked down the stairs with my belongings to breakfast. One of the staff members unlocked the staff bathroom so I could brush my teeth before I left and instead of trekking up four flights. Apparently, the elevator needed to be reset.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Oak Tree in Arcadia. This will be the hotel we stay at when we visit Arcadia. Spacious room, VERY comfy bed and extremely clean. It truly hearkens one back to the charm of what hotels once were but with all of today's tech. Good wifi, big screen TV and an adequate breakfast. FANTASTIC snacks! I would have given 5 stars if they had an elevator of some sort to help folks who can't do stairs. They do have one room on the ground floor and if a family is traveling with someone with a disability, that room is lovely. The staff were so kind and helpful. Overall, treat yourself to a stay at the Oak Tree, you won't be disappointed.
